Baby cuddles are the best aren't they?! Everyone loves to cuddle the baby when they visit and whiling away the time with a sleeping baby in your arms sounds like the perfect afternoon...and it really is!

However, it's not always possible to cuddle the baby off to sleep, especially when mum is managing by herself and needs to get stuff done or has other children to look after.

Putting baby down awake in the crib is one of my Top Tips and is certainly a helpful habit if your goal is for baby to be happy in the crib with the ability to self soothe.
